HMMS Transactional Procurement Buyer
St. Joseph's Health Care London
Process healthcare purchasing transactions with HMMS in London, Ontario, combining order management, policy compliance, and responsive customer support.
As a Buyer within HMMS Purchasing, you will support transactional procurement for St. Joseph's Health Care, London and London Health Sciences Centre. Your responsibilities include processing requisitions, confirming orders, auditing spending, expediting shipments, resolving discrepancies, and handling returns. You will also explain policy and procedural requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with daily supply and purchasing requirements
Confirm orders through various methods of technology
Audit purchases for corporate and legislative compliance
Clarify purchasing policies and procedural requirements
Work with sites and internal HMMS departments
Requirements:
Post-secondary purchasing, supply chain, or business certificate
Purchasing, accounts payable, supply chain, office, or retail experience
Knowledge of healthcare safety culture and OHSA compliance
Excellent oral, written, organizational, and time management skills
Independent self-starter with strong initiative and critical thinking
Bring transactional procurement, compliance auditing, and order coordination skills to HMMS Purchasing's healthcare supply chain team.
