Ideal candidates will have either CCFP-EM or FRCPC and full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. The ER averages 70 visits a day, providing a unique opportunity for clinical engagement and teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer superior emergency care in a high-volume ER setting
• Work closely with various specialties including surgery and pediatrics
• Provide mentorship to medical students from UBC
• Administer appropriate emergency interventions and treatments
• Adapt to ongoing changes in patient needs efficiently
Requirements:
• CCFP-EM or FRCPC certifications required
• Full licensure with College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
