Assistant Home Centre Manager Deloraine

Lead Home Centre operations in Deloraine with Boundary Co-op, applying retail leadership, inventory control, and customer service skills daily.
As Assistant Home Centre Manager, you will support Hardware, Gas Bar/C-Store, and Liquor departments. The position includes merchandising, procurement, pricing, marketing programs, and inventory accuracy. You will also help guide Team Members through training, scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily operations across three assigned departments
Assist ordering, receiving, warehousing, and stock rotation
Help achieve sales, margin, expense, and inventory targets
Execute promotions, seasonal campaigns, and marketing initiatives
Act for the Department Manager during absences
Requirements:
Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
Two to three years of retail experience
Supervisory or team leadership experience considered an asset
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Action-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven approach
