Kitchen Manager – Salt Spring Coffee Cafe and Kitchen
Salt Spring Coffee Cafe and Kitchen is seeking a
Kitchen Manager
to lead our back-of-house team in delivering high-quality, consistent meals in a welcoming and efficient environment. This hands‑on role includes overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, sanitation, staff training, and a la carte breakfast cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise kitchen staff in all areas of food preparation and delivery
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen sanitation.
Manage ordering, inventory, and recipe development
Cook and support a la carte breakfast service
Train and support staff to ensure consistency and efficiency
Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful kitchen environment
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar kitchen leadership role
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to lead a team effectively and positively
Excellent communication skills
Must be punctual and available for early morning shifts
