Caretaker I Service Role at ALCDSB

Become a Caretaker I with the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board and help foster a safe, clean environment. This full-time role involves maintaining premises to meet community health standards.
The position is based at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School and involves daily upkeep of the entire facility. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma and have prior caretaking experience. Your commitment to safety and cleanliness will support the educational mission of the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure daily cleaning of school areas
• Maintain safety and health guidelines effectively
• Operate various cleaning equipment
• Report maintenance and repair needs immediately
• Manage cleaning supplies and inventory
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 6 months of caretaking experience
• Knowledge of WHMIS and safety practices
• Physical capability to perform required tasks
• Strong English reading and writing skills
