Oracle database administration and performance tuning define this hybrid Toronto consulting contract with Randstad Canada. Support enterprise platforms two days weekly onsite.
Randstad Canada seeks an experienced Oracle database professional for approximately six months, with possible extension. The work covers enterprise database administration, Oracle Cloud, GoldenGate, deployments, troubleshooting, and platform operations. Schedule Monday to Friday during core business hours, with occasional evening or weekend operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, monitor, and tune Oracle databases for performance
Execute scripts, schema updates, and deployment packages
Support Oracle GoldenGate replication and Oracle Cloud workloads
Resolve database errors, incidents, and connectivity issues
Apply patches, verify backups, and manage capacity
Requirements:
At least five years of enterprise Oracle DBA experience
Oracle Cloud OCI and Oracle GoldenGate administration experience
Database deployments, DDL/DML migrations, and release execution experience
Knowledge of contention, locking, resource constraints, and performance
Microsoft SQL Server or English/French bilingualism considered assets
