Business Systems Analyst – Digital Platform (Payments)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with experience in digital payments and API integrations. The ideal candidate will work on initiatives involving Interac e-Transfer, system enhancements, and integration projects, translating business requirements into technical solutions within a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
Work on Interac e‑Transfer integrations and upgrade initiatives
Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
Manage and prioritize backlog items, ensuring timely delivery
Perform data analysis to identify trends, data quality issues, and risks
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and recommend solutions
Support API integration and digital platform enhancements
Communicate updates and manage stakeholder expectations
Assess system capabilities and recommend improvements
Support development, testing, and implementation activities
Required Skills:
Experience with Interac, e‑Transfer, and API Integration
Strong business analysis and systems analysis skills
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
Experience in digital platforms and application enhancements
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in financial services or banking domain
Knowledge of payment systems and regulations
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, SAS)
