In this multifaceted position within Diagnostic Imaging Services, you will take an active role in managing mammography workflows and administering bone mineral densitometry. The Mammography Technologist will address clinical and operational matters, ensuring effective performance of procedures and equipment safety. Your thorough understanding of laboratory practices will aid in delivering comprehensive patient care and facilitating staff training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and organize mammography workflow
• Administer mammography and BMD tests accurately
• Act as a subject matter expert for department inquiries
• Maintain X-ray safety and equipment readiness
• Provide in-service education for team members
Requirements:
• Current C.M.R.I.T.O. registration
• Relevant mammography and BMD experience
• Ongoing CVI breast certification efforts
• Expertise in Stereotactic biopsies and localization
• Strong interpersonal and documentation capabilities
