Shape the future of product design at WhiteWater as an Industrial Designer in Richmond, BC. Collaborate closely with engineers to enhance product aesthetics and manufacturability in a full-time capacity.
In this role, you will focus on elevating the design quality of new products through aesthetic refinements and user experience improvements. You will work alongside a diverse team to ensure designs bridge creative vision and engineering practicality, resulting in distinctive, buildable products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Development Leads during product design processes
• Refine aesthetics for product updates and new releases
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and structurally sound
• Conduct CAD modeling and support drawing documentation
• Evaluate designs through prototype testing and iteration
Requirements:
• 5-7 years in industrial design or development
• Bachelor's in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and rendering tools
• Skilled in concept sketching and visual communication
• Experience in cross-functional product development
