Apex Systems seeks a Risk Controls Analyst for its consulting practice and Big Five Bank Data Office client. The six month rolling contract focuses on data movement, business-specific controls, and risk mapping. You will assess lineage risks, communicate data quality concerns, and recommend enhancements or gap mitigation. Strong communication, organization, analytical ability, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Overlay risk controls with lineage flows and mapping diagrams
Identify lineage risks and recommend gap mitigation
Communicate data quality concerns with business stakeholders
Coordinate with Archer, SOX, finance, and risk groups
Support regulatory data organization and control assessments
Requirements:
Experience with risk controls and business-specific ITGC controls
Understanding of data movement, lineage, transformations, and filtrations
Ability to read SQL, Java, COBOL, or comparable code
Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills
Attention to detail and engaged professional approach
