Start your culinary journey with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment as an Entry-Level Cook. This position is designed for passionate individuals eager to thrive in a high-volume kitchen atmosphere.
You'll work closely with seasoned chefs to gain hands-on experience while rotating through various kitchen locations. Responsibilities included but are not limited to ingredient preparation, maintaining hygiene, and supporting service operations. Your role will be essential in ensuring that we deliver top-quality dining experiences to our fans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in all aspects of food preparation in rotating kitchens
• Gather and store ingredients efficiently
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
• Train co-workers on basic culinary skills
• Support the kitchen team in daily operations
Requirements:
• Completion of Food Handler Certification required
• Familiarity with knife skills preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work effective under pressure
