Highway Snowplow Equipment Operator
40 Ledcor Highways Ltd.
Operate snowplow trucks and heavy equipment with Ledcor Highways Ltd. Help keep Alberta highways safe through winter maintenance work.
This winter seasonal operator position runs across Alberta from October 1st to April 30th, with potential for year round employment. You will maintain provincial highways while assisting with crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge cleaning, signage cleaning, and hazard remediation. Training is provided for qualified operators.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and heavy equipment
Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways during winter operations
Assist with crack sealing and pothole repair
Clean bridges and highway signage
Work outside during all weather conditions
Requirements:
Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 license with air endorsement
Clear three-year driver’s abstract
Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Snowplow or wheel loader experience is an asset
Bring licensed equipment operation, physical capability, and highway maintenance skills to Ledcor’s Alberta winter operations.
