You will implement thorough crop management and risk plans with a focus on continuous improvement and high-quality seedling production. Your knowledge will also be vital in initiating mechanized transplanting and developing essential trials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute detailed crop and risk management plans
• Develop and manage Integrated Pest Management strategies
• Control water and climate within various growing environments
• Launch a mini plug transplanting program with defined practices
• Create trials to enhance horticultural knowledge and practices
Requirements:
• Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in growing management
• Proven team leadership and operational oversight
• Familiarity with budgeting and planning processes
• Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office
