Entry Level Oilfield Facility Operator

Operate an oilfield waste facility in Fort McMurray with training provided and a 14-and-14 schedule for local applicants. Use tools, equipment, and basic computer skills daily.
GrizzlyTrek is hiring one entry level Facility Operator for a regulated industrial waste landfill. You will support drilling waste, contaminated soil, tank bottoms, sludges, and produced water operations. Training covers facility procedures, paperwork, and compliance while you build experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct incoming trucks and oversee safe unloading at the gate
Weigh, ticket, manifest, track, and log facility loads
Inspect pumps, tanks, and equipment during site walks
Perform basic maintenance using hand and power tools
Maintain safe areas and participate in hazard assessments
Requirements:
Live in Fort McMurray with reliable transportation to site
Industrial, plant, shop, yard, mill, or field experience
Comfort with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical tasks
Valid Class 5 licence and basic computer skills
Availability for 14-and-14 shifts, holidays, weekends, and on-call support
