This position is an excellent fit for someone with a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification and experience in troubleshooting heavy-duty machinery. You will work directly with customers, performing repairs and overseeing maintenance on Caterpillar engines, both in the field and at the shop. Team collaboration and strong communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and implement repairs for Caterpillar engines
• Manage overhauls while ensuring operational efficiency
• Facilitate customer communication and complete service records
• Operate a service truck during field assignments
• Maintain accuracy in all aspects of paperwork
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification needed
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on mechanics experience
• Valid class 5 driver’s license required for field work
• Experience with gas compressors essential
• Basic computer skills to manage documentation
