The position is based at Port Hardy Hospital and Port McNeill Hospital, with responsibilities extending to on-call work. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct established laboratory tests in hematology and chemistry
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Train and mentor new laboratory staff
• Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and legislation
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Requirements:
• CSMLS certification in Medical Laboratory Technology
• Completion of a diploma in the field
• Recent relevant experience or completion of core courses in last two years
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical aptitude for laboratory tasks
