Advanced Cook Vail Resorts

Advanced cooking skills meet mountain hospitality at Vail Resorts, with full time and part time winter seasonal schedules available. Prepare quality dishes and support kitchen teams.
As an Advanced Cook, you assist the Chef and promote teamwork among culinary staff. You maintain food quality and safety while supporting an exceptional dining experience for guests. The position includes ingredient preparation, menu knowledge, inventory control, and kitchen equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate kitchen equipment, tools, and accessories
Train other kitchen staff on equipment use
Maintain food preparation, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
Prepare ingredients and maintain par levels
Track inventory using first in, first out methods
Requirements:

Culinary degree or certification preferred
One to two years of relevant work experience
Strong cooking techniques, practices, and food safety knowledge
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Fluent English communication required
Bring culinary technique, food safety knowledge, and kitchen coordination to the Advanced Cook team at Vail Resorts.
