Claims Records Review Clerk

Protect Alberta workers’ privacy as a Review Clerk using careful document analysis and sound judgment in Edmonton with hybrid work opportunities.
WCB-Alberta seeks a temporary full-time Review Clerk for Claims Records Services. You will review claim files and medical information packages, applying POPA, ATIA, and Workers’ Compensation Act requirements. The work supports timely, accurate responses to external requests while protecting sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine access rights to claim records using sound judgment
Redact sensitive information according to established procedures
Review medical packages against applicable privacy guidelines
Analyze files for compliance with WC Act sections 147 and 148
Identify information requiring release or withholding
Requirements:
Post-secondary education or equivalent access and privacy experience
Experience applying POPA and ATIA
Exceptional attention to detail during extended document reviews
Proficiency with Adobe Pro, eCO, Image, and PAM
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
