Lower School Movement Teacher

Teach developmentally appropriate movement and games lessons at Toronto Waldorf School near Toronto, Ontario. Lead classes of up to 24 students.
This Lower School Games Teacher teaches Grades One through Five, with possible additional subjects. You will evaluate physical, emotional, and social progress, communicate with parents, and contribute to Waldorf curriculum study. The position also includes collaboration, meetings, and school events.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach games classes in Grades One through Five
Lead engaging, developmentally appropriate movement and games lessons
Evaluate students’ physical, emotional, and social progress
Report regularly to parents through written reports
Attend faculty meetings and assist with school events
Requirements:

Successful experience as a lower school movement teacher
Bachelor of Education or equivalent
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work within a community environment
Waldorf certification or commitment to becoming certified
Bring movement teaching, student assessment, parent communication, and Waldorf collaboration to Toronto Waldorf School’s Lower School community.
