Dairy Plant Maintenance Millwright
Saputo Inc.
Keep Saputo’s dairy processing equipment operating through skilled maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting at the Edmonton plant. Work 12-hour rotating shifts in continuous operations.
As a Millwright, you will maintain mechanical and automated systems supporting liquid bottling, packaging, and food processing. Your work includes conveyors, filling machines, cappers, case-packers, SEW motors, gearboxes, homogenizers, and heat exchangers. Accurate documentation and compliance with GMP, Food Safety, OH&S, WCB, and company standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain conveyors and liquid bottling production lines
Repair filling, sleeving, capping, and case-packing equipment
Service motors, gearboxes, homogenizers, and heat exchangers
Communicate with plant personnel about safe production processes
Perform medium to heavy lifting during daily operations
Requirements:
Millwright or Journeyman Certificate; dual certificate an asset
Manufacturing experience with strong troubleshooting ability
Food processing facility experience considered an asset
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety understanding
