DFI is on the lookout for a skilled Class 1 Driver specializing in heavy haul tasks. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering heavy equipment across Western Canada, while engaging in preventative maintenance and regulatory compliance. Your role is vital to DFI's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and haul a variety of heavy equipment
• Apply and manage tire chains as necessary
• Comply with federal hours of service regulations
• Maintain an accurate driver’s logbook
• Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections
Requirements:
• Clean Class 1 driver’s abstract required
• Safety certifications: First Aid, H2S, CSTS, Fall Protection are assets
• Proven experience in heavy haul driving preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
