Lithium Extraction Senior Project Manager
Project Management Institute - Southern Alberta Chapter (PMI-SAC)
Drive lithium extraction project success as a Senior Project Manager with NES Fircroft in Calgary, Alberta. Oversee all phases from design and engineering to construction and startup.
This role focuses on the Clearwater Central Processing Facility's lithium extraction processes, where you will be the client's main representative. Your leadership will guide teams through detailed engineering and procurement while maintaining a strong safety culture. Effective management of budget forecasting and project scheduling will be key to delivering high-quality lithium carbonate production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead FEED and engineering phases for lithium processing
• Ensure project scope, budget, and timelines are met
• Act as a liaison among key stakeholders and contractors
• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards
• Generate comprehensive progress reports for management
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management
• History of managing projects exceeding $100MM
• Familiarity with capital procurement and construction phases
• Working knowledge of Alberta’s environmental standards
