Provide comprehensive nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Selkirk Regional Health Centre, using clinical judgment and approved nursing standards. This 0.60 FTE position includes days and nights.
Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Clinical job stream. You will practice under the Licensed Practical Nurses Act and CLPNM standards while supporting patients, residents, and clients. The position includes clinical direction responsibilities when assigned charge duties, alongside communication, decision-making, and computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients
Practice within approved professional standards, legislation, and ethics
Provide clinical direction when assigned charge responsibilities
Support Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority mission, vision, and values
Help identify and disrupt racism in care environments
Requirements:
Active or eligible CLPNM practicing licensure
Current Basic Life Support training
One year acute care experience within five years
Clinical nursing competence and effective decision-making ability
Valid Manitoba driver’s license and satisfactory checks
Bring acute care experience, clinical nursing skills, and sound decisions to Licensed Practical Nurse practice at Selkirk Regional Health Centre.
