Associate Buyer Seafood Procurement

Support Seafood procurement at Loblaw Companies Limited through vendor management, category data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration. The role is based in retail procurement.
As an Associate Buyer, you will support the BEEP Team and Buyer(s) across category procurement for Loblaw's retail divisions. Your work spans vendor performance, sourcing support, RFPs, costing, supply risk, quality management, and onboarding. The position requires careful coordination with supply chain, merchandising, private label, and international sourcing teams to resolve availability and fulfilment challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate data and analyze vendor performance information
Prepare presentation materials for the Director and Buyer(s)
Maintain accurate category and vendor costing system data
Facilitate vendor onboarding and new product creation
Resolve availability and fulfilment challenges collaboratively
Requirements:
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
At least one year in procurement, supply chain, or retail merchandising
Ability to prioritize multiple projects confidently
Financial, business, and retail knowledge
Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
