French Food Service Unit Manager

Lead food service operations as a Unit Manager, using French communication, budgeting, and client relationship skills to guide daily performance.
Compass seeks a Unit Manager with at least two years of related food service management experience. You will oversee food preparation, operation planning, expenditures, budgeting, costing, inventory, staffing, and administrative duties. The position also requires compliance with Quality Assurance, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and WHMIS regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the unit’s financial success and operational performance
Lead food preparation, planning, budgeting, costing, and inventory control
Recruit, hire, schedule, and complete administrative duties
Maintain excellent client relationships and satisfaction with service options
Conduct inspections and manage WHMIS training for staff
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French
At least two years of related food service management experience
ProServe, Food Safe, or Basic First Aid training
Ability to control food and labour costs
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Bring French communication, cost control, leadership, and client relationship skills to Compass unit food service operations.
