Owen Sound Critical Care Nurse Role

Take charge of critical care nursing at Brightshores in Owen Sound as a temporary Registered Nurse. Support critical patients with excellent clinical skills and teamwork.
Reporting to the Manager of Critical Care and Respiratory Therapy, this role requires a proactive approach to patient health and safety during critical phases of illness. Candidates should have a minimum of three years in critical care and hold the required certifications, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specialized care for critically ill patients
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with health professionals to enhance patient care
• Participate actively in mandatory staff training and meetings
• Promote a culture of safety and respect within the unit
Requirements:
• Registration with Ontario College of Nurses
• 3 years of critical care nursing experience required
• Critical Care Certificate, current BCLS, and ACLS necessary
• PALS certification must be obtained within one year
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
