Join Medavie Health Services as a Casual Registered Nurse, providing compassionate client care through assessments and education. This flexible role adapts to on-demand hours, focusing on individual recovery.
You'll employ your nursing expertise—gained through a Baccalaureate Degree or extensive diploma experience—overseeing initial client assessments and creating case management plans. Strong communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to educate clients on trauma-informed care and harm reduction strategies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform initial and ongoing client assessments
• Develop personalized case management plans with clients
• Educate clients in individual and group settings
• Liaise with interdisciplinary services when necessary
• Provide recovery-focused, trauma-informed care
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• 1-3 years of nursing experience required
• Eligible for registration with College of Nurses in PEI
• Knowledge of substance use and Mental Health Act
• Experience with Telus EMR is preferred
