Home Care Physiotherapist Niagara
Extendicare
Deliver Physiotherapy care in clients’ residences across South Niagara, assessing neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and cardiorespiratory needs. This opportunity is open for part time scheduling.
As a ParaMed Physiotherapist, you will provide treatment, rehabilitation, and injury or pain prevention within residential or institutional settings. The position serves pediatric clients through in home or school services and adults with medical or health concerns. Care focuses on developing, maintaining, rehabilitating, or augmenting function and promoting mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess client needs and identify presenting problems
Create goals and treatment plans following assessments
Engage clients through collaborative rapport building
Document client encounters and care plans professionally
Coordinate with healthcare workers and government agencies
Requirements:
Physiotherapy Bachelor’s degree
Good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Ability to travel to client residences
Valid driver license and personal vehicle access
Paediatrics experience preferred
Use client centered Physiotherapy, mobility promotion, and treatment planning skills to support ParaMed clients throughout South Niagara.
