Gasfitter A Propane Systems Technician

Install and service propane systems as a Gasfitter A with Avenir Energy, applying mechanical expertise and CSA B149 Gas Codes in field settings.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Gasfitter A supports safe, efficient propane system installation, maintenance, and service. Work includes residential and commercial tanks, appliances, vaporizers, and propane hook-ups. Year 1 and Year 2 Gasfitter Apprentices are also considered, offering hands-on industry experience through a safety-focused position.
Key Responsibilities:

Install propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers
Maintain and repair residential and commercial propane systems
Complete accurate propane hook-ups safely
Order parts and complete work orders
Assist with invoicing and shop-related activities
Requirements:

Gasfitter A certification required
Year 1 or Year 2 apprenticeship considered
Strong understanding of CSA B149 Gas Codes
Minimum Class 5 driver's license
Strong technical and mechanical skills
