Lead women’s apparel design for Reitmans (Canada) Limited, focusing on premium fabrics, sophisticated details, and commercially relevant coordinated collections. This is a hybrid opportunity.
Within RW&CO.’s renewed creative direction, the Designer will contribute a clear fashion perspective from initial concept through final execution. You will develop women’s suiting and coordinated sets while balancing customer relevance, creative vision, and commercial opportunity. Your work will incorporate competitive intelligence, customer response, and hindsight.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop premium women’s suiting and coordinated set collections
Explore new materials and opportunities for the assortment
Present a clear point of view during fittings
Partner with Merchandising on commercial collection decisions
Elevate future collections using customer and competitive insights
Requirements:
Three to five years of fashion design experience
University degree or college diploma in Fashion Design
Refined understanding of garment construction and finishing
Curiosity about fashion, culture, and emerging trends
Strong attention to detail in design development
