Postpartum Registered Nurse Unit 25

Support mothers and babies as a Registered Nurse on Unit 25 at Red Deer Regional Hospital, providing family centered postpartum care. Work regular part time shifts across days, nights, and weekends.
This Registered Nurse position serves postpartum patients, newborns, and families through safe, quality, family centered nursing. You will use nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making while teaching, counseling, and advocating. Classroom orientation and buddy shifts support learning and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities
Deliver family centered care to postpartum patients and newborns
Assess postpartum patients and newborns
Teach and support patients in parenting roles
Advocate for patients and their families
Requirements:
Complete an accredited nursing education program
Hold active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit
Maintain current BCLS-HCP certification
Demonstrate communication and effective relationship skills
Ability to work shift work and meet physical demands
Bring postpartum nursing, newborn assessment, and family centered care skills to Unit 25 at Red Deer Regional Hospital.
