Senior Solids Control Equipment Technician
Clean Harbors
Maintain solids control equipment for Clean Harbors in Red Deer, Alberta, using strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting expertise. Respond to remote sites and client locations.
As a Senior Solids Control Technician, you will maintain and repair oilfield rental equipment across the branch, yard, and field locations. The work includes centrifuges, pumps, minor electrical issues, and scheduled service. You will also support apprentices and shop laborers while completing required documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Rig in, rig out, repair, and maintain solids control equipment
Respond to remote locations and client sites as scheduled
Troubleshoot minor electrical and equipment issues
Complete safety documents, work orders, and daily reports
Maintain rental equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
Requirements:
Experience maintaining and rigging solids control equipment
Experience with centrifuges and pumps
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
First-Aid and H2S Alive safety tickets upon hire
Strong mechanical, communication, and troubleshooting skills
Use mechanical expertise, equipment maintenance, and field troubleshooting skills to support Clean Harbors operations throughout Red Deer and remote locations.
