Build accounting experience with Mitel through financial reporting, audit support, and month-end close work within its global organization. Develop practical skills across recurring accounting activities.
This Accounting Co-op Student works with Mitel’s General Accounting and Financial Reporting teams. The position supports year-end audits, related filings, quarterly filings, special projects, and general accounting functions. You will also assist with consolidation entries, financial statement support, and transaction analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with general month-end and quarter-end closing tasks
Prepare monthly entries consolidating subsidiaries into the main ERP
Interact with external and internal auditors
Support Financial Statement and MD&A tie-outs
Proof financial statements, filings, and selected accounting transactions
Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and work within a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Bring accounting education, careful analysis, and communication skills to Mitel’s General Accounting and Financial Reporting teams.
