Public Health Nurse Pine Falls

Apply public health nursing expertise at Pine Falls Health Complex, supporting population health, disease prevention, and equitable outcomes. This is a 0.60 FTE clinical position.
The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Public Health Nurse for its Public Health department. Reporting to the Clinical Team Manager, you will serve individuals, families, groups, and communities across the life span. The work includes health promotion, reproductive and sexual health, immunization, harm reduction, and community development.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote, protect, and preserve population health
Prevent injuries, chronic diseases, and communicable diseases
Support postpartum women, infants, and families
Address determinants of health and reduce inequities
Apply independent judgment in unusual matters
Requirements:
Active Manitoba registered nursing practice registration
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support Certification
Two years’ recent public health or related nursing experience
Knowledge of public health legislation and confidentiality requirements
Use population health promotion, nursing judgment, and community development skills as a Public Health Nurse in Pine Falls.
