Drive AI program delivery at OpenMined through technical planning, risk management, and AI-enabled project operations. Work remotely with substantial overlap with US Eastern business hours.
As Senior Technical Program Manager, you will own timelines, dependencies, and delivery across product, engineering, research, and partnerships. You will support ScreamingFace and AI Oversight while working with distributed systems, LLM infrastructure, and privacy-enhancing technologies. The role requires technical judgment without production coding.
Key Responsibilities:

Own flagship initiative delivery from goals through release dates
Build AI agents for status, risk, and planning workflows
Maintain milestones, dependencies, roadmaps, and OKR plans
Coordinate partner pilots, launches, and grant milestones
Report progress and trade-offs to leadership
Requirements:

Seven-plus years managing technical projects or programs
Experience building project management practices teams consistently use
Experience shaping processes for AI-native engineering teams
Hands-on AI agents, automations, or workflow experience
Comfort reading code, pull requests, and architecture documents
Bring AI-native delivery leadership, technical fluency, and disciplined program management to OpenMined’s ambitious initiatives.
