As an Engineering Manager, you will lead, coach, and grow specialized web platform engineers. You will set technical vision and roadmaps with Client Platforms and product teams. The work focuses on modernization, productivity, performance, quality, and reliable web experiences for Pinners and advertisers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and grow web platform engineers
Set technical vision and roadmap with partner teams
Drive platform modernization and modern client architecture adoption
Improve stability, browser compatibility, frameworks, and dependencies
Establish planning, sprint, risk, and stakeholder rhythms
Requirements:
10+ years engineering and 2+ years management experience
Depth in Node, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React
Platform or foundations experience improving engineering productivity
Strong alignment, communication, and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Bring web platform leadership, technical judgment, and modernization expertise to Pinterest’s engineering organization in Toronto.
