This Vice President oversees Specialty and Programs operations across Canadian product lines and targeted growth segments. The position drives underwriting excellence, profitability, retention, rate adequacy, expense management, and portfolio optimization. It also advances governance, delegated authority, compliance, and enterprise risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor financial, operational, and underwriting portfolio performance
Implement corrective actions and strategic business initiatives
Oversee Programs and Affinity governance and audit requirements
Advance market opportunities, product development, and innovation
Represent CNA with brokers, customers, and industry associations
Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of insurance and underwriting leadership experience
Proven profitable growth and portfolio strategy results
Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements
Demonstrated success leading specialty insurance businesses
Master's degree or industry designation preferred
