Director of Payments Product Management

Lead Payments product strategy at Lightspeed, guiding GPV growth and payment penetration across Retail and Hospitality platforms globally.
As Director of Product Management, you will own the Payments line of business within Financial Services. Lead Group PMs and Senior PMs across North America and EMEA, while partnering with Engineering, Design, and Commercial leaders. Shape multi-year transformations, product governance, and cohesive payment experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Define multi-year Payments strategy aligned with company OKRs
Own GPV, penetration, onboarding conversion, and revenue outcomes
Lead and coach Group PMs and Senior PMs
Align Engineering, Design, Sales, Operations, and Finance
Consolidate fragmented payment capabilities across product lines
Requirements:
Two to three-plus years managing at Director level
Ownership of a payments or comparable product vertical
Experience hiring, developing, and promoting product leaders
Fluency in acquiring, interchange, settlement, reconciliation, and compliance
Understanding of APIs, microservices, and platform consolidation
Bring executive leadership, payments expertise, and systems thinking to Lightspeed’s global Financial Services product organization.
