As Director of Engineering, you will own cloud platform financial stewardship and shared engineering services. Your remit includes cloud cost management, forecasting, budgeting, provider relationships, and production SaaS operations. Cross-functional partnership enables product innovation without compromising reliability, security, or efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Own cloud cost governance, forecasting, budgeting, and optimization
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage cloud providers and technology vendors
Partner across Engineering, Finance, Security, Compliance, and Product
Operate shared services supporting large-scale SaaS production environments
Drive responsible governance for AI platforms and engineering tooling
Requirements:
10+ years across software, infrastructure, or related engineering disciplines
5+ years leading engineering managers or technical teams
Experience with public and private cloud infrastructure
Large-scale SaaS production operations experience
Cloud financial management and strategic initiative leadership experience
