Director IT Internal Audit Cybersecurity

Lead IT internal audits for EQ Bank, focusing on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence within a hybrid Toronto work model. Shape audit coverage across digital banking technologies.
As Director, Internal Audit IT, you will lead risk assessment, control identification, documentation, testing, findings, and recommendations across the Bank. Your work covers IT operations, cloud technology, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. You will develop audit programs aligned with ITIL, NIST, regulatory expectations, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop audit coverage for technology processes and new systems
Execute end-to-end IT audit engagements independently
Assess controls, document testing, and develop audit conclusions
Draft reports for the Chief Auditor
Follow up on management actions addressing audit findings
Requirements:
Post-secondary degree with specialized IT designation, such as CISA or CISSP
10+ years auditing information technology within financial institutions
Expert knowledge of ITIL, NIST, and applicable regulatory requirements
Experience auditing infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, and technology projects
Excellent communication and senior management influencing abilities
