AI Automation Director Wealth Management

Drive wealth management automation at National Bank from Montreal or Toronto, combining artificial intelligence, agent technologies, and process optimization.
This Senior Director position leads transformation within Wealth Management Operations and reports to the Vice-President. You will direct an engineering team of about 12 people while working closely with business lines and technology teams. The mandate includes selecting practical technologies, improving operational capacity, and scaling secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Transform operational processes through automation and artificial intelligence
Select technologies that effectively solve identified business problems
Develop engineering expertise within operations teams
Control automation risks and validate solution quality
Measure performance, costs, and generated operational value
Requirements:
Seven to ten years of relevant management experience
Experience leading managers, developers, and operational technology teams
Recognized organizational transformation and continuous improvement experience
Expertise in workflows, RPA, low-code, generative AI, and LLMs
Understanding of AI economics, cybersecurity, privacy, and responsible AI
Use automation leadership, AI expertise, and operational judgment to modernize wealth management services at National Bank.
