Reporting to the President and CEO, the Vice-President provides strategic leadership for Canadore’s academic portfolio and research strategy. The position advances teaching, learning, student success, flexible pathways, applied research, and industry partnerships. It also guides academic planning, renewal, emerging technologies, and innovative delivery models across a complex institution.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead academic planning, renewal, quality, and program relevance
Advance applied research, industry partnerships, and regional innovation
Integrate artificial intelligence and emerging technologies thoughtfully
Oversee academic resources and evidence-informed organizational change
Build relationships across institutional and external partners
Requirements:

Progressive senior leadership experience in postsecondary education
Experience leading academic transformation in complex environments
Strong financial and operational judgment
Graduate degree in a relevant discipline required
Doctoral degree preferred; unionized experience an asset
Bring collaborative academic leadership, digital fluency, and applied research expertise to Canadore’s students, partners, and communities.
