Commissioning Operations Leader Nordex

Shape commissioning operations at Nordex through technical talent development, resource allocation, and safety leadership across North America.
This Commissioning Manager leads a workforce supporting multiple wind farm construction projects. The role manages personnel planning, recruitment, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and engagement. Success requires wind industry experience, strong leadership, and the ability to support geographically dispersed teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate staffing levels with Commissioning Leads
Identify competency gaps and coordinate development plans
Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
Maintain competency and certification matrices
Improve workforce planning and resource utilization
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
Experience managing more than 15 technical resources preferred
Utility-scale wind energy experience strongly preferred
Nordex or Acciona turbine technology experience preferred
Strong communication, analytical, and conflict resolution skills
Use commissioning knowledge and workforce leadership to develop qualified teams supporting Nordex wind project execution requirements.
