Fly Hydro One Networks helicopters as Pilot in Command, applying aviation expertise, sound judgment, and safety leadership. This position requires residence within 50 kilometres of BAA for on call duties.
Hydro One seeks a Helicopter Pilot responsible for aircraft operation, onboard safety, and regulatory compliance. The pilot coordinates fleet scheduling with customers and provides expertise for helicopter related work. The position requires maintaining skills across different helicopter types for specialty flying.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Pilot in Command across Hydro One helicopter fleets
Maintain helicopter operation and onboard safety during flights
Operate aircraft under orders, procedures, and applicable regulations
Coordinate fleet scheduling with existing and potential customers
Maintain skills for specialty flying across helicopter types
Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 education with an aviation background
Valid commercial or higher helicopter license
Minimum 3,000 flight hours and current Airbus AS350/AS355 experience
Bush, field, airport, external load, and longlining experience
Knowledge of Transport Canada regulations and helicopter technology
Bring helicopter command, external load, and powerline patrol experience to Hydro One while supporting safe specialty aviation operations across Ontario.
