Drilling Rig Manager Well Control
Akita Drilling
Use Rig Manager experience and safety expertise with Akita Drilling on outdoor drilling projects serving Duvernay and Montney operations.
This full-time, permanent position is based in Nisku, Alberta, supporting challenging oilfield environments. Experienced Rig Managers are sought for a company operating 22 rigs across Canada. Well Control certification, Class 5 licensing, and H2S Alive certification are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage drilling rig operations in assigned projects
Support Duvernay and Montney oilfield work
Operate effectively under varied outdoor conditions
Maintain strong safety commitment during operations
Contribute within team-oriented field environments
Requirements:
Experience working as a Rig Manager
Commitment to safety and drug-free workplaces
Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
Well Control certification preferred
H2S Alive certification preferred
Bring drilling management experience, Well Control knowledge, and safety focus to Akita Drilling’s Canadian rig operations.
