As a key player in staff development, you will coordinate training programs that enhance compliance and staff competence. Your experience as a Registered Practical Nurse will guide you in mentoring frontline staff and ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver person-centred care in alignment with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate staff onboarding and orientation programs
• Deliver essential education sessions on safety and compliance
• Conduct competency assessments and provide coaching
• Maintain documentation compliance and training records
• Collaborate closely with leadership to improve training initiatives
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Practical Nurse certification
• 2–3 years in a long-term care or healthcare setting
• Gentle Persuasive Approaches certification preferred
• Strong facilitation and communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse learning styles
