Shape water, wastewater, and linear infrastructure projects as a Senior Civil Designer at CIMA+, with hybrid work in Mississauga, Toronto, Bowmanville, or Markham.
You will lead civil design activities and provide technical direction throughout municipal infrastructure project lifecycles. The position combines detailed drafting, construction support, contractor review, and mentorship. CIMA+ seeks an experienced professional who can coordinate teams and produce high-quality, constructible solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage design efforts from concept through detailed design
Provide technical support during construction and close-out
Review contractor submissions against design requirements
Develop coordinated solutions with engineers and project managers
Coach junior designers and technologists
Requirements:

Civil Engineering Technology diploma or related associate degree
Minimum 10 years of progressive civil design experience
Advanced MicroStation and OpenRoads expertise
Ability to interpret complex engineering concepts accurately
Integrity, team spirit, and commitment to excellence
Support resilient municipal infrastructure through senior design leadership, technical mentorship, and accurate constructible documentation at CIMA+.
