Senior Electrification Systems Design Manager
SYSTRA
Lead Electrification systems design for SYSTRA Canada’s Go Expansion Program, coordinating engineering delivery, interfaces, resources, and project priorities.
As Senior Manager, you will lead design for Electrification Systems, including POS and OCS, with Delivery Partners supporting Metrolinx. You will oversee complex engineering projects across planning, specifications, budgets, schedules, contractors, and deliverables. The position combines technical leadership with stakeholder management, operational excellence, financial oversight, and people leadership for Electrification Infrastructure and CPG capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Electrification systems goals, policies, priorities, and strategic plans
Oversee specifications, cost estimates, proposals, and bid documents
Coordinate design, IDRs, and infrastructure development interfaces
Manage contractors, performance, compliance, and project deliverables
Report team activities to Rail Systems leadership
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering discipline
Minimum ten years leadership and project management experience
Electrification experience within the transportation industry or sector
Knowledge of complex engineering design project management
Professional Engineering license recognized by PEO is an asset
