Capital Projects Engineer
CF Industries, Inc.
Lead capital projects onsite at CF Industries using project management and multidisciplinary engineering expertise. Support safe, reliable plant operations from conception through startup.
Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor - Projects, the Project Engineer leads capital and plant maintenance initiatives. You will coordinate mechanical, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and process disciplines. The work includes construction oversight, cost control, technical review, scheduling, commissioning, and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects from conceptual development through commissioning and closeout
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across engineering disciplines
Monitor contractors against specifications and applicable code requirements
Manage project funds and forecast monthly cash flows
Provide field engineering support and resolve technical issues
Requirements:
Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical or Process
Professional Engineer designation or eligibility for registration
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and equipment documents
Five or more years of related experience
Project management and implementation experience; PMP is an asset
