Nimmo Bay Resort General Manager
Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort
Lead Nimmo Bay’s wilderness resort operations in British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest through people-focused leadership and financial management. This position includes seasonal on-site work and off-season home-based work.
The General Manager provides overall leadership, performance oversight, and operational direction for Nimmo Bay. Working with ownership and upper management, you will coordinate departments, develop leaders, manage budgets, and support exceptional guest and employee experiences. Significant hospitality, tourism, or remote operating experience is ideally suited.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support diverse teams across all departments
Oversee daily resort operations and guest experience standards
Coordinate front-of-house, guiding, housekeeping, and maintenance teams
Manage budgets, payroll, labour planning, and operational expenses
Provide ownership with performance updates and business presentations
Requirements:
Significant leadership and operational management experience
Strong financial acumen with budgets and forecasting
People management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Comfort with remote living and hands-on leadership
